*According to studies retail density of stores offering aggressive point-of-sale menthol and flavored tobacco advertising are often much higher in communities with higher populations of marginalized peoples (lower income, communities of color, LGBTQ, eg). Tobacco companies are 10x (source) more likely to target these communities with marketing of these same products. This often leads to large health disparities between marginalized individuals and the general population.
